Pro-Life
Jake is Pro-Life and will always fight for the unborn and the born. He believes that the policies being proposed by the left that would kill newborn babies are evil and have no place in our society. God grants the gift of life and that life should be protected.
2nd amendment
Jake believes that the framers of the constitution were very clear when they wrote the 2nd amendment. As a proud member of the NRA, Jake believes that the right to bear arms should never be infringed upon and is worth defending.
The Economy
Jake believes in a free-market economy with lower taxes and less government regulations. Growth in the economy will never stem from politicians, it will be from the hard-working men and women who are working toward a better future for them and their families. Our economic policies must center around creating a business friendly environment where entrepreneurship can thrive.
Education
Jake is in favor of the pay raises teachers have recently received and believe we should do more to support our educators in North Carolina. Our students are the future of our state and we should always be willing to invest in them. Furthermore, Jake believes that education is best when it is closest to home. Local school boards and educators know what is best for their students, not a governing body in Raleigh or Washington D.C.
